Parent Pick-up: June 23 @ 3:00pm

High School students will travel to West Virginia where they will explore a “wild” cave, day hike in the beautiful New River Gorge, and whitewater raft the Lower New River.  While they will be tested physically, they will also be challenged spiritually, spending time in worship and God’s word in His creation.

About the Dean

Where are you involved at church?
I have attended Parkside Christian Church since 1991 and I serve as a Student Ministry Volunteer.
What is your favorite Bible verse?
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6.)
What does camp ministry mean to you?
I attended Woodland Lakes as a camper as an elementary and junior high student.  It is a privilege to have served on staff at WLCC since 2005.  I love camp ministry because it is a great opportunity for campers and guests to get away from the normal routine of life and listen to God.  The outdoors has always been a place where I am able to connect with God the best.  I love serving in a way that provides people the opportunity to do the same.
What is your favorite camp memory?
I love gathering at the pool or lake at the end of a week of camp for baptisms and seeing the lives that have been changed!
What is your favorite dessert?
Graeter’s Coconut Chip Ice Cream
