Dean: Holly Kern
Check-in: June 21 @ 6:30pm
Parent Pick-up: June 22 @ 4:00pm
We know that Emojis are a fun way to quickly express our emotions with others. The Bible teaches us that our emotions are a gift from God, that He has a purpose for all of them, and that we can express them in a good way. Join us to hear Bible lessons teaching how we can express the different emotions God gave us in a good way, along with lots of fun activities like swimming, rock climbing, swimming, eating yummy food, swimming, playing games, and did we mention SWIMMING?
“How you made me is amazing and wonderful. I praise you for that.
What you have done is wonderful. I know that very well.” – Psalm 139:14 NIrV
About the Dean
Where are you involved at church?
I have been on staff at Loveland Christian Church for 16 years. I am the Director of Children’s Ministry and also on our Ephesians 4 Women’s Ministry Team.
What is your favorite Bible verse?
My favorite verse is Matthew 17:20, “…if you have faith as small as a mustard seed…Nothing will be impossible for you.”
What does camp ministry mean to you?
I love coming to WLCC and have been a part of the Summer camps here for 20 years, as a counselor and a dean. I would live there all year if I could! Spending time with the children and the counselors learning all about Jesus is the best time of every year.
What is your favorite camp memory?
I think my most favorite memory of camp was my second year as a counselor for Middler. We had a record number of kids so our “teams” we quite full and it was GREAT!!! The more the merrier is always a good thing at camp!
What is your favorite dessert?
I like all types of desserts, but I think my most favorite is ICE CREAM!
