Fit for Battle

Join us for a week of base camp adventures. Your student will make lifelong memories and draw closer to God as he is influenced by Christ’s love and teaching.

This week students will be placed in “Patrols” and will play and learn together. Students will have the opportunity to advance in “rank” as they complete tasks that will equip their hearts and minds for life.

Our key verse for the week is Ephesians 6: 10-18. At the end of the week students will understand that God has given them everything they need to face the pressures of this dark world; so they can fearlessly live for the “Kingdom”.

What is your favorite Bible verse? 

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” (Philippians 2:3-4)

What does camp ministry mean to you? 

I have been actively involved with Christian Camping my entire life. For me personally camp is where: my faith was strengthened, I was called to ministry, I met my wife, and I hold some of my fondest memories.

What is your favorite camp memory?  

I love evening campfire worship.

What is your favorite dessert? 

Butterscotch Pie
